佛光山開山祖師星雲大師與1993年創立八打靈佛光文教中心以文教二字奠定此道場以教育培養人才的宗旨，以文化教育弘揚人間佛教 。
30年來在僧信二重的努力耕耘下，弘法工作深入人心，接引一切有緣人學習佛法。因此道場空間早已不敷使用。
2023年9月獲佛光山總本山認同酬購新佛光文教中心。
新佛光文教中心座落離現道場約5分鐘車程，2.3公里之路程，我們依循大師建寺理念，未來新佛光文教中心將有更大空間舉辦各項社教課程，推動各種文化教育的活動，讓人間有佛法，佛法滿人間，社會更加和諧美好！
誠邀大德善信隨喜布施，廣植福田，共同成就人間佛教道場。十方來十方去共成十方事，萬人施萬人捨，共結萬人緣。
Supporting The New Fo Guang Shan (Malaysia) Petaling Jaya
In 1993, Fo Guang Shan’s Founder, Venerable Master Hsing Yun, established the FGS (Malaysia) Petaling Jaya with two words, i.e. “culture and education” to lay the foundation for the purpose of educating and nurturing talents to promote Humanistic Buddhism in the world.
Over the past 30 years, under the hard work of the Sangha and devotees, the Dharma work has penetrated into the hearts of the people, and has attracted all those who are interested in learning the Dharma. As a result, the space of the temple has long been insufficient.
In September 2023, Fo Guang Shan’s Headquarters approved the purchase of the New FGS (Malaysia) Petaling Jaya.
The new FGS (Malaysia) Petaling Jaya is located about 5 minutes away from the current site, which is 2.3 kilometers away. Following the philosophy of the Venerable Master in building the temple, in the future the new temple will have more space to organize various social and educational courses and to promote various cultural and educational activities, so that there will be Buddha’s teachings in the world, and the Dharma will fill up the world, creating a more harmonious and better society!
We invite our benefactors to give with charity, to cultivate a lot of blessings, and together we will establish the Buddhist temple for Humanistic Buddhism. For all who come from the ten directions and all who go back to the ten directions, together, may we accomplish tasks that benefit people from all directions. For the giving from countless people, and bestowment from countless people, may connections be established between these countless people.
